From 1 July 2015, any female greyhounds that plan to breed as a breeding female need to be registered with GRNSW to ensure they are eligible to be served when they are next on season.
Even if a female greyhound has had one or more litters, an application will still need to be lodged to register her as a breeding female.
In order to register a female greyhound with GRNSW, owners will need to complete the Application for Breeding Identification Card Form and submit it to GRNSW.
Once a greyhound is registered as a breeding female with GRNSW, the owner will be issued with a Breeding Identification Card for that greyhound. This card is known as the Pink Card.
