Dayle Brown Resigns As GRNSW Deputy CEO
Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) today announced that its Deputy CEO, Dayle Brown, has tendered his resignation due to personal and family reasons.
Mr Brown was appointed to the role of Deputy CEO from Racing Victoria in December 2017 and, led by GRNSW’s CEO, Tony Mestrov, has been instrumental in setting GRNSW and the greyhound racing industry in NSW on a path of significant reform.
Mr Mestrov praised Mr Brown for the achievements that he had managed to accomplish during his short tenure, including his involvement in the introduction of GRNSW’s new euthanasia policy and commitment to engaging with industry participants to ensure their views are heard in setting the strategy for reinvigorating the industry.
“Dayle was an invaluable support to me during the first few months of my new role and he will be sorely missed.” Mr Mestrov said.
"The leadership team at GRNSW will continue with its important work to guide the NSW greyhound racing industry towards a sustainable future – our focus and resolve remains undeterred.”
At this time, GRNSW does not intend to comment further in relation to this matter and requests that the media and public respect Mr Brown’s privacy.
