On 13 November 2017 the Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) Inquiry Panel charged trainer Mr John Collison under rule 83(2) of the GRNSW Greyhound Racing Rules as follows:

That you, John Collison, a registered trainer, while in charge of the greyhound ‘Shake My World’, presented the greyhound for the purpose of competing in race four at The Gardens on 2 September 2017 in circumstances where the greyhound was not free of any prohibited substance.

The prohibited substance was atenolol. 

Following Mr Collison’s admission to the charge and consideration of all relevant factors, the GRNSW Inquiry Panel determined to impose a period of suspension of six weeks.
