GRNSW’s next “Training for the Future" industry seminar features a special presentation by Professor David Eager of UTS and veterinarian Dr Alexandra Blecich. 

Professor David Eager leads the University of Technology's research team investigating track design for greyhound welfare and safety. Dr Alexandra Blecich is a registered veterinarian with qualifications in Sports Medicine, Physical Rehabiliation and Acupuncture. Dr Blecich has experience working with both racing and retired greyhounds and currently runs the veterinary service, SMART paws.

Trainers, educators and owners are encouraged to attend as topics discussed will be:

  • Track design for greyhound safety and welfare
  • Safe and successful rehabilitation techniques

The industry seminar is hosted by Dubbo Greyhound Race Club, Sunday 15th April from 10am - 2pm. Morning tea and lunch provided.
