Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) is today releasing its COVID-safe Protocol for those attending all NSW greyhound tracks, as well as GRNSW and Greyhounds As Pets NSW (GAP) facilities.

This Protocol will be in place from October 12, 2021, and applies to all participants (including GRNSW staff, race and club officials, participants, contractors, media, volunteers) attending any NSW greyhound track and all GRNSW and GAP facilities.
GRNSW and all industry participants are committed to COVID-safe greyhound racing, and as such, from October 12, GRNSW will be implementing Rapid Antigen Testing (RAT) on site at all NSW Greyhound tracks, at the GRNSW offices and at our GAP facilities. The RAT testing will be free-of-charge.

To enter any greyhound racetrack in NSW for 12 October 2021, all persons must:

(a)  Show proof of complete COVID-19 Vaccination (two doses of a COVID-19 vaccine)
or

(b)  Take a Rapid Antigen Test at the track and receive a negative result prior to entry. This will be around a five (5) minute process at the gate.

Any person - vaccinated or not - who is experiencing even the mildest of flu-like symptoms must not attend any racetrack.

Note: All GRNSW COVID Safety Protocols are subject to NSW Public Health Orders as applicable from time to time.
