Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
Well, it's finally come around and next Friday 13th October all eyes will be on Wentworth Park for the running of the Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase! To order your FREE tickets to be trackside on the night, you can do so here. The Dogs will also be broadcasting all the action LIVE from the first race - you can view the coverage at www.thedogs.com.au or on our Facebook and YouTube pages.
But there is plenty of racing action before then! At Temora on Wednesday 11th October, there are 457m 5th Grade Heats, leading to a $5,000 Final. Please note this is an extra prize money meeting for graded races over 457 & 570m.
At Casino, on Thursday 12th October we'll see a 484m Non-Grade (1/2/3/4th Grades) with $3,660 to the winner.
At Wentworth Park on Friday 13th October, MDC Grand Final night, there is also a 520m Non-Grade Syndication Showdown worth $20,000 to the winner.
We recover from the Million Dollar Chase at Wentworth Park on Saturday 14th October, where there is a 520m Wentworth Park Battlers worth $6,000 to the winner.
At Broken Hill on Sunday 15th October there are 375m 5th Grade Heats ($1,750 Final) and at Grafton on the same day, there are 450m 5th Grade Heats - with a $3,000 Final.
Richmond races on Monday 16th October and will feature 320m Maiden Heats leading to a $1,500 Final.
Finally, at Bulli on Tuesday 17th October, there are 400m 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats with a $3,000 Final.
