Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
We begin at Dapto on Thursday 18th January, there are 520m 5th Grade Heats leading to a $5,000 to the winner final a week later. Also on Thursday, at Casino, we'll see 484m Non-Grade Stake worth $3,660 to the winner.
At Wentworth Park on Friday 19th January, the meeting features 520m 5th Grade Dogs only no city wins heats, and 5th Grade Bitches only no city wins heats- both worth $6,000 to the winner. At Goulburn on Friday, 440m 5th Grade Heats after on offer leading to a $3,000 to the winner final.
All eyes are on Wentworth Park on Saturday 20th January, for the Group 1 finals - the Ladbrokes Paws Of Thunder, National Derby, and National Futurity! Also on Saturday at The Gardens, there are 515m 5th Grade 1-4 Win Heats ($5,000 to the winner final)
On Sunday 21st January at Grafton thera er 450m 5th Grade Heats leading to a $3,000 to the winner final.
We head to Maitland on Monday 22nd January for the 450m 5th Grade Heats Maitland to Wenty (No city wins) - with a $6,000 to the winner final at Wentworth Park on Saturday 27th January.
You won't want to miss Gosford on Tuesday 23rd January - the meeting features heats for the 603m Summer Six Hundred Heats - with the winner of the final getting a cheque of $25,000!
Finally, at Grafton on Tuesday 23rd January, the meeting features 350m M3 Masters Heats - with a $2,200 to the winner final.
