Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
The Ladbrokes Million Dollar Chase will be run and won tonight, but that doesn't mean the racing stops, and at Richmond on Wednesday 18th October we have 520m 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats leading to a $5,000 Final. This meeting carries extra prize money for all races, and all races over 622m & 722m will carry city-class prize money.
Up to Casino on Thursday 19th October we'll see the 411m Pop Northfield Maiden Heats, with a $10,000 Final the following Friday.
It's Cup time at Goulburn and on Friday 20th October, the 440m Goulburn Cup Heats (with a cool $40,000 Final) and 350m Fireball Heats ($25,000 Final) will be run and won - you won't want to miss out on either!
Also on Friday 20th October, at Wagga, there are 525m 5th Grade Heats with a $5,000 Final. Still on Friday but at Wentworth Park there are 520m Maiden Heats - worth $2,000 to the heat winners and a $6,000 Final, plus there is also a 520m Wentworth Park Battlers worth $4,000 to the winner.
At Dubbo on Saturday 21st October there are 400m 0-3 Win Heats ($7,500 Final) and at Wentworth Park on the same day we'll see 5th Grade Dogs Only Heats and 5th Grade Bitches Only Heats - both with $6,000 Finals.
We head to Grafton on Sunday 22nd October for 350m 5th Grade Heats leading to a $2,200 Final.
The following week, at Richmond Straight on Tuesday 24th October there are Maiden Heats with a $1,500 Final, and at Bulli also on Tuesday there are 400m Maiden Heats, with a $3,000 Final. At Grafton on Tuesday there are 350m 1-3 Win Heats leading to a $2,200 Final.
