Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
We start at Temora on Wednesday 20th December, where we have 457m Temora to Wenty Heats - with a $4,000 Final at Wentworth Park on 29th December. Also on Wednesday, at Richmond, there are 520m 1-2 Win Heats - leading to a $5,000 Final. There is extra prize money for all races and all races over 622m & 722m will carry City class prize money.
At Casino on Thursday 21st December, there are 411m Non Grade (1/2/3/4th Grade) Heats on offer with a $3,150 Final to be run the following week.
At Goulburn on Friday 22nd December, the meeting will see 440m 5th Grade Heats ($5,000 Final), and this is an axtra prize money meeting for graded races over 440m. Still on Friday, at Wentworth Park, there are 520m 5th Grade (No City Wins) Dogs Only Heats and 520m 5th Grade (No City Wins) Bitches Only Heats - both with $6,000 Finals.
On Saturday 23rd December, in the morning at the Richmond Straight, we'll see Maiden Heats leading to a $1,500 Final. Dubbo will feature 318m 5th Grade Heats, with a $2,000 Final a week later.
Everybody will be keeping an eye on Santa at Grafton on Christmas Eve, Sunday 24th December where there will be 5th Grade 1-2 Win Heats ($5,000 Final) and this is an extra prize money meeting for graded races over 450m and 660m.
On Boxing Day at Nowra, Tuesday 26th December, there are 520m 5th Grade Heats ($5,000 Final) and 365m 1-4 Win Heats ($2,000 Final). At Bulli on the same day, there will be 340m 1-2 Win Heats ($3,000 Final) and 472m 0-1 Win Heats ($4,000 Final). Gosford rounds out a bumper Boxing Day with 515m Gosford Cup Heats - a cool $40,000 on offer to the winner of the Final! The meeting will also feature 515m Maiden Heats ($3,000 Final) and 388m 5th Grade Heats ($5,000 Final)
Finally at Richmond on Wednesday 27th December, we'll see 622m 5th Grade Heats leading to an $8,000 Final. There is extra prize money for all races, and all races over 622m & 722m will carry City class prize money.
