Wagga Greyhound Project

Exciting plans are in the works for greyhound racing in Wagga Wagga.

Greyhound Racing NSW (GRNSW) is upgrading its racing track and other infrastructure at the Wagga Wagga Showground over the next 12-18 months.

The upgrades will include a new two turn circle track to improve safety, with larger radii, increased transitions and a Safe Chase lure., all upgrades aimed at ensuring safer racing. The venue will also be home to a new straight track, only the second of its kind in NSW.

Some planning work has already been done and we’d now like to hear from locals about their ideas, suggestions and feedback, so we can optimise the facilities in Wagga Wagga.

Are you a breeder, owner, trainer, volunteer, attendee at Wagga greyhound racing events or a member of the Wagga Wagga community?

What do you think should (or shouldn’t) be included as part of the upgraded facilities?
