Welcome to GRNSW’s Racing Week Ahead where we update participants with our upcoming events for the following week, highlighting several of those events for which nominations close over the next seven days.
We start a new month at Richmond on Wednesday 1st November, where we'll see 520m Maiden Heats with a $4,000 Final the following week. Remember there is extra prize money for all races and all races over 622m & 722m will carry City class prize money.
Up to Casino on Thursday 2nd November, there are 411m 4/5th Grade Heats leading to a $3,050 Final. Still on Thursday but at Gunnedah, the card has 340m 5th Grade 1-6 Win Heats on offer with a $2,000 Final a week later.
Wagga holds centre stage on Friday 3rd November for the 525m Bidgee Cup Heats - the $25,000 Final will be held the following Friday the card will also have 400m 5th Grade Heats and 525m 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats - both with $3,000 Finals on Cup night.
Also on Friday, The Gardens will have 515m 5th Grade The Gardens to Wentworth Park Heats - with a $4,000 Final at headquarters. Speaking of headquarters, on Friday 3rd November Wentworth Park will host 5th Grade 1-3 Win Heats leading to a $6,000 Final.
At Grafton on Sunday 5th November we'll see 450m 5th Grade Heats leading to a $5,000 Final - and there is extra prize money for graded races over 450m and 660m.
We round the week out at Bulli on Tuesday 7th November - Melbourne Cup Day - with 472m 0-1 Win Heats leading to a $4,000 Final.
